Cobblestone Appeal to An Bord Pleanála
The Cobblestone pub planning application which was refused by Dublin City Council in November has been appealed to An Bord Pleánala.
In the appeal, the developer’s architect proposes various amendments which would be acceptable to the developer.
We should not be deterred by the soft media coverage of this appeal, and we certainly cannot allow the planning authorities to bow continually to developer-led planning in this city.
I will prepare an observation and post it here next week. Anyone who wants can add their name to it by contacting me.
It is open to anyone to make an appeal themselves; the deadline is 26th January and the cost is €50.
The appeal documents are below, these are not openly available to the public - in what is a serious shortfall in the planning system, you have to contact DCC and ask them to email them to you.
